Ceyda Baytas, born in 2004

Based between Milan and İstanbul, I am currently pursuing my degree in Visual Arts at Nuova Accademia di Bella Arti in Milan. I move across the fields of writing, art, and creative direction. My practice centers on the ways human presence leaves invisible imprints on both physical and imagined landscapes.

My work emerges from an instinctive empathy toward the world around me — people, spaces, histories. I am drawn to the silent dialogues between individuals and their environments: the ways memory stains architecture, the ways emotion lingers in everyday objects, and the ways history breathes within forgotten corners. Each project — whether a piece of writing, a visual work, or a larger conceptual design — seeks to make these invisible traces visible. By weaving fragments of philosophy, memory, and speculative futures, I aim to build spaces where feeling is knowledge, and where observation becomes a radical act of care.
